Back in the '80s, there was a club on the west side of Ocean Avenue at 4th.

It was called Montego Bay and it was the place to be.

With a stainless steel dance floor and some of the best bartenders around, people would stand in line forever trying to get in.

One thing hasn't changed, though. There still isn't any parking!

There was plenty of club competition during the decade of decadence. For example:

I was born in the 80s, so I've only heard it was a wild and fun decade at the Shore.

Part of me wishes I was in my 20s during the 80s or I at least got to spend of my childhood being a part of the big decade.

The music was amazing and every genre was on fire.

How about the movies of the 80s? Some of the best motion pictures ever made came from the 1980s. The Breakfast Club. Enough said.
